Hammertoes is a term used to describe misshapen or crooked toes.
While genetics has a role in creating hammertoes, poorly fitting shoes
can put unnatural pressure on your toes as well. This pressure creates
misshapen toes that prevent your toes from resting flat, or force one of
your toes into, or onto, another. Often those with flat feet develop
hammertoes because muscles working in the defective arch area pull back
on the muscles in the toes. Drew footwear is designed with wide toe
boxes that allow the toes to spread evenly across the shoe's surface.
Drew's added depth and double added depth footwear with removable
insoles creates the necessary room to relieve pressure and reduce
friction that can create corns, bunions and blisters.
